While the raffle for the atmos x New Balance 327 has just opened, accessible from January 24 to 27, 2022 (article available HERE), Japanese reference shop ATMOS unveils an eye-catching new triple collaborative project. Koji and his team have worked with Japanese toymaker SECRET BASE to bring us a figure based on the legendary American animated series « The Simpsons ».
This art of work is based on the character of Bart Simpson, the sassy son of the Springfield family.
SECRET BASE has created a soft vinyl figure with an X-RAY style half-skeleton. One half of the body is presented in the classic way, with Bart’s signature silhouette and colorful clothing, and the other half appears to be X-rayed. The latter is transparent, revealing the skeleton of Homer and Marge’s famous son. The Japanese toymaker has taken great care and attention to detail to create one of its most accurate and polished products. This figurine is also one of the largest that the brand has ever offered, 190mm.
The SECRET BASE x atmos x The Simpsons « Bart X-RAY ver » will be released on January 29, 2022 via a raffle set up on atmos-tokyo.com from January 25 to 28, 2022. The price is set at 212$ (24 200¥).
