Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x adidas Superturf Adventure

Designer SEAN WOTHERSPOON gives us another glimpse of his upcoming collaboration with German giant ADIDAS. After reinventing the ZX 8000 and Superstar silhouettes, the Round Two shop co-founder has teamed up with Japanese retailer ATMOS to develop a new model called Superturf Adventure.

For this new project, Sean Wotherspoon reintroduces a material he particularly likes, corduroy. The latter had played a major role in the famous SW Nike Air Max 97/1 of 2018 and was found on the last collab with atmos based on the Asics GEL-Lyte 3 (articles available on this site).

The shoe presented today is dressed in a palette of bright and varied colors. The purple corduroy base is complemented by green, blue, orange and beige overlays and yellow or red stitching. True to Sean Wotherspoon and adidas’ philosophy, this vegan shoe is environmentally friendly. It features recycled polyester inserts and a cork insole. To complete the design, the sneaker adopts a trail look and features a detachable corduroy cover with a waterproof zipper above the laces. This pouch can be used as a wallet. The whole is based on an adidas adiPRENE + midsole and traction outsole reminiscent of the Response Hoverturf silhouette, which finalizes the bold style of this collaborative pair.

The Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x adidas Superturf Adventure is expected to be released in preview in November 2021, before a general release in December, priced at 160$. To be informed of the latest official details, stay tuned !
