The talented New York designer Ronnie FIEG participates in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Asics GEL-Lyte III with a collection called “The Palette”. After teasing a video on his Instagram, the founder of the brand KITH announces the details of this collaboration with his long time Japanese
partner ASICS.
Ronnie Fieg went back into the archives of previous collaborations spanning over 9 years, in order to bring out the most used and emblematic colors. The legendary slit-tongue shoe is available in 30 colorways, from cream to anthracite, pastel pink and cloud blue. 1 colorway per year of existence. These iterations consist of a premium quality suede upper in a solid color. The lining, tongue and laces also match. The whole is based on a contrasting colored sole, which gives the final touch to this careful design. Continuing the tribute to the 30th anniversary of the GEL-Lyte III, each of the 30 colorways will be produced not in 30 but in 300 pieces.
The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “The Palette” collection will be released on Black Friday in the United States on November 27, 2020 in KITH stores and on kith.com.
