To our delight, it’s still a « no fail » for RONNIE FIEG. After surprisingly releasing the New Balance « Pistachio » duo mid-week, the talented Queens designer unveils a new iconic collaboration rooted in New York streetwear culture : with the brand TIMBERLAND.
This new opus is presented as part of the second drop of the KITH Winter 2022 collection and is part of the streetwear-chic brand’s 10th anniversary celebration.
In addition to knit and fleece pieces, as well as stylish essentials for cold weather, Ronnie Fieg has reworked iconic models of the famous boot brand, the Classic 6″ and Super Boot 40 Below.
The Classic 6″ premium is available in 2 eye-catching colorways : Wheat and Burgundy, and the Super Boot 40 Below is offered in a new khaki green makeup.
Both models from TIMBERLAND use pull-up leather on the upper to add character with wear, and feature a stylish Kith monogram embossed on the collars. Specifically, the Burgundy and Green colorways are executed in a matte leather, while the Wheat tone uses TIMBERLAND’s standard leather finish.
All 3 pairs also feature a shearling lining. It extends above the collar for the Classic 6″ model, while it remains inside the shoe for the Super Boot 40 Below. To complete the design and affirm the collab, each pair features a woven label on the back of the tongue branded « Fieg for Timberland », along with a brief timeline of the partnership. The front of the tongue is adorned with the respective hometowns of Ronnie Fieg and Timberland. This boots also get special metal dubraes featuring the special 10th anniversary Kith logo : KXTH, and co-branded hangtags. The whole is based on the legendary boot brand’s iconic lug sole, which adds the finishing touch to the design.
The Ronnie Fieg for Timberland Winter 2022 Classic 6″ and Super Boot 40 Below capsule will be released on November 25, 2022 at 11am in all KITH stores, on kith.com and on the KITH app. Prices are set at $230 for each Classic 6″ and $300 for the Super Boot 40 Below. Be ready and good luck !
