Reebok Pump Omni Zone II « Dee Brown »

While the Reebok acquisition is still pending, the historic brand continues to be productive. After a recent collaboration with the renowned retailer END. (article available HERE), REEBOK takes us back to the 90’s by re-releasing a classic silhouette that made a big splash, the Pump Omni Zone II.

It’s with this pair that Dee Brown scored the 1991 NBA Dunk Contest. The Boston Celtics rookie stole the spotlight from favorite Shawn Kemp and won the Slam Dunk title that year. Before his first « No Look » dunk, Dee Brown prepared by taking the time to inflate his shoes. A small staging that the public liked a lot and that made the popularity of this Reebok Pump Omni Zone II explode.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this shoe is making a comeback in its true OG shape. It consists of a layered upper made of black leather and white TPU, built from the classic blacktop of the 90s. In addition to bringing a legendary style with a distinctive look, the TPU overlays improve speed and durability. The iconic orange inflation button adorns the long black tongue and the collar is covered with white mesh. White or orange branding details are found on the side heel reinforcement and tongue. To complete the look, the whole is based on a black and white sole with touches of orange.

The Reebok Pump Omni Zone II « Dee Brown » will be available on March 5, 2021 at selected retailers and on reebok.com for 140€. Be ready !
