A commonplace and simple activity, but one whose importance has been revalued since the global restrictions. Contrary to what you might think, the lifestyle brand POMPEII is not Italian but Spanish. Founded in 2014 by 4 friends, the start-up is based on the idea that discovery is an essential driving force in life.

Having first started by selling sneakers online, POMPEII wanted to develop physical spaces. Beginning with Madrid, the brand has moved on to four other major Spanish cities : Barcelona, Valencia, Seville and Malaga. POMPEII considers that, in addition to being a sales space, its stores are places where people can come together to have a good time, browse through a book or linger over a mural. Always in a spirit close to the human being and its well-being, the Spanish brand offers us products mostly made in Spain and is committed to reducing its environmental impact. With the « Shorts Trips Around The Neighbourhood » campaign, POMPEII goes beyond the borders of its native country and ventures into the streets of London. Images of Londoners in their everyday lives are presented. They highlight the pleasure of walking in his neighborhood, the discovery of small shops and complexes still accessible. All this is done with the Kiran silhouette, which embodies the label’s slogan « Your trusted walking shoes ».

This model adopts a classic sneaker style. Inspired by the past, this sneaker has been redesigned for a more urban everyday wear. It features a cutout canvas upper and a thick off-white vulcanized rubber sole that extends to the toe box. A textile lining and canvas-lined terry insole accentuate the comfort. The look is completed with a contrasting band on the heel, metal eyelets and off-white cotton flat laces.

The pair comes in eight colorways, ranging from off-white to black, two shades of yellow, navy, bluish grey, beige and burgundy. It was produced in the POMPEII factory in Hong Kong, which is committed to social and environmental issues through the « Pompeii Conscious » program, which aims to reduce its environmental impact by 50% by 2023.
