While we are still under the spell (and the shock) of the great collection made with the talented Ronnie Fieg (article available HERE), the Japanese giant Asics continues to collaborate. The Los Angeles-based streetwear brand PLEASURES brings its touch to the trail silhouette that has been making a comeback for some time, the GEL-Nandi OG.
PLEASURES takes on the current era and offers us a shoe inspired by outdoor exploration. The sneaker is adorned with a design reminiscent of hiking trails and natural elements, while being ideal for a modern lifestyle look.
The sneaker features a cream-colored, ultra-resistant mesh upper with fine black suede « trail » type inserts scattered throughout the foot. The black Pleasure inscription adorns the toe box and the Tigers Stripes appear iridescent to refer to self-reflection in nature. The contours of the Asics stripes are purple, as are the eyelets and elastic laces, adding a nice touch of contrast to the pair. For maximum comfort, the inner lining is quilted and dressed in olive green to recall nature. The whole is based on a thick black midsole with touches of olive green, combined with a black non-slip outsole with touches of purple under the heel.
The Pleasures x Asics GEL-Nandi OG will be released on December 4, 2020 on the websites of both partners, asics.com and pleasuresnow.com, and at selected retailers such as AFEW, END., Asphalt Gold, Foot District or SNS. For a suggested retail price of 120€.
