Since its creation in 2015, the Los Angeles-based steetwear brand PLEASURES has quietly made a name for itself in the game through attractive collections and eye-catching collabs. After teaming up with Reebok and Adidas last year, the label created by Alex James and Vlad Elkin unveils a new project with ASICS.

The 2 brands had proposed us an exclusive GEL-Nandi at the beginning of December 2020. Almost 2 years later, they are back with a special version of the legendary GEL-Lyte III.

The iconic split tongue silhouette designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui gets an eye-catching retro look.
Posted on PLEASURES social media with the caption « Putting the GEL back in GEL-Lyte III », this collaborative version is not coated with GEL. Rather, it can be seen as a reference (naughty, as PLEASURES likes to do) with the iconic technology that has shaken up running shoe lines.
The sneaker consists of a light grey mesh upper, enhanced by dark grey suede overlays that feature pine green outlines, new to the GEL-Lyte III. The style is completed with black Tigers Stripes and white embroidered PLEASURES branding on the back of the heel. An off-white midsole with the famous GEL technology and a light grey outsole complete the design.

The PLEASURES x ASICS GEL-LYTE III will be releasing saturday september 3rd, on the streetwear brand pleasuresnow.com and on asics.com. To keep up with the latest official details, stay tuned !
