The legendary adidas Superstar silhouette has been reinterpreted by many big names of the sneaker world to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2020 (several articles available on this site). The party continues in 2021 with this new collaboration from L.A. streetwear label, PLEASURES.
The iconic shoe gets an understated design with a modern touch and subtle details.
Appearing mostly in black, it consists of a leather upper with matching tongue and rubber shell toe. The heel is dressed in canvas also in black color and the iconic 3 side stripes add a modern touch with their translucent material. White laces and red branding details break up the main style of this shoe. We discover the PLEASURES logo on the heel and alongside the adidas 3-Stripes instead of the traditional adidas Superstar. To complete the look, the tongue is tagless and the sole comes in black.
The PLEASURES x adidas Superstar will be released on May 27, 2021, at select retailers for 130$.
