Piet Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low

A few months ago, the rumor of a new Nike SB Dunk Low designed in collaboration with the Dutch artist Piet Parra had surfaced on social networks (article available HERE). This pair reappears today, in connection with the celebration of the Tokyo Summer Olympics that will be held in a few days.

This collaborative sneaker takes the design of the official skateboard kits Parra x Nike SB « Tokyo Olympics ». It consists of a white leather upper, complemented by a black side Swoosh and enhanced by bold overlays. The overlays feature Piet Parra’s signature style. They feature wavy geometric shapes in a color combination of red, blue, green, orange and pink. This color combination is also found on the tongue branding, insole and heel. The blue inner lining and white touches on the tongue and laces highlight the look. To finalize the collab, the brandings are combined on the insole, while Parra adorns the left heel tab and Nike the right. The whole is based on a white midsole coupled with a gum rubber outsole.

The Piet Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to be released soon in select skateshops and on nike.com. More details coming soon, stay tuned !
