After the appearance of an exclusive « Orange Blaze » version (article available HERE), the new wave Patta x Air Max 1 seems to continue with the confirmation of the « White Grey » colorway. It’s the co-founder of the famous Amsterdam shop, Edson Sabajo, who announced the release of this 6th colorway of the « Wave » series.
Edson was keen to point out that this colorway is not the tribute version « Roman » created uniquely in honor of his late son who died suddenly in June 2021 (Rest in Peace).
Like the previous versions, this shoe consists of a light grey mesh upper, complemented by a mudguard with signature wavy finishes. This element appears in white leather, as do the rest of the overlays. To complete the two-tone look, the side Swoosh is dressed in light grey leather, and the tongue and inner lining are presented in white. Upper eyelets and light grey tongue and insole co-branding assert the design and collab. The whole is based on a vintage yellow midsole and white rubber outsole that harmoniously refine the design.
The pair will be delivered in a special box and accompanied by a custom jewelry bracelet and a red Patta hangtag with a strong message « Each One Teach One ».
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 « White Grey » is expected to be released soon, probably before the end of summer 2022, in PATTA stores, at selected retailers, as well as online at patta.nl and nike.com, for a price around $160.
