A few days ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the fourth and last colorway of the pack “The Wave” made by Patta in collaboration with Nike. Having had the chance to buy it just before the official release, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
The special « wavy » design of the AM1s of this collection is found particularly at the mudguard. It has been reworked to obtain eye-catching wavy finishes. On this 4th version, these waves appear in black. They bring a nice touch of contrast to the metallic silver mesh base. The Swoosh logo, previously seen matching the mudguard, is dressed this time in bright white. It appears in smooth leather on the quarter panel and embroidered in mini version on the side tip. The black color is found on the inner lining, tongue, laces and outsole. An off-white midsole “Coconut Milk” completes the elegant look of this collab.
I find this colorway particularly successful and effective. Indeed, the mix of black and grey associated with a yellowed outsole brings a retro/modern side class, easily associated with a casual outfit as with a more elaborate outfit. The materials are of good quality and the finishing is average on one of the feet of my pair (uncut threads). Anyway, the overall quality seems okay to me. For me, it’s really a must-have in a collection.
