After weeks of waiting, the famous Amsterdam shop PATTA reveals the release date of its next version of Nike Air Max 1 collaborative of the series « The Next Wave ». The White Grey colorway named « Pure Platinum » will follow the « Dark Russet » which opened the new collaboration between Nike and Patta in the middle of August 2022.
This new series « The Next Wave » is the 2nd part of the « The Wave » collection released last year. It delivered the « Monarch », « Noise Aqua », « Rush Maroon » and « Black » versions which had been delivered throughout 2021.
« The Next Wave » is inspired by the African proverb « Each One Teach One » and Patta’s vision to create a connected and thriving community around the world. The streetwear brand continues to act and invest in helping others, with initiatives such as the Patta Academy or the mentorship program at the SHAPA community center in Soweto, south of Johannesburg in South Africa.
This new « wavy » AM1 consists of a light grey mesh upper, completed by a mudguard with wavy finishes that have become a signature. This insert is dressed in white leather, just like the other overlays. To complete the two-tone look, the side Swoosh appears in light grey leather, and the tongue and inner lining are presented in white color. Upper eyelets and tongue and insole co-branding in light grey affirm the design and the collab. The whole is based on a vintage yellowed midsole and a white rubber outsole which harmoniously refines the design.
The launch of this shoe will be accompanied by an exclusive apparel collection.
PATTA x Nike Air Max 1 « Pure Platinum » will be released on August 26, 2022 at 1 p.m. in stores and online on patta.nl, for a price of $170. It will then arrive on Nike’s SNKRS app. Good luck !
