The Air Max 1 “The Wave” collection by PATTA in collaboration with Nike is enriched with its 4th and last iteration. After being teased at the launch of the 3rd colorway “Rush Maroon” and then by Chris Gibbs of UNION LA (article available HERE), the “Black” version is presented to us in details by the team of the famous shop in Amsterdam.
The special “wavy” design of the AM1s of this collection is found particularly in the mudguard. It has been reworked to obtain eye-catching wavy finishes. On this 4th version, these waves appear in black. They bring a nice touch of contrast to the metallic silver mesh base. The Swoosh logo, previously seen matching the overlays, is dressed this time in bright white. It appears in smooth leather on the quarter panel and embroidered in mini version on the side tip. The black color is found on the inner lining, tongue, laces and outsole. An off-white “Coconut Milk” midsole completes the elegant look of this collab.
Just like the 3 previous PATTA x Nike Air Max 1 “The Wave”, this sneaker will be accompanied by textile pieces : a tracksuit set featuring a tonal wave pattern and a duo of graphic t-shirts. This clothes are adorned with branding details and the t-shirts feature the strong and fraternal slogan of Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt’s brand “Patta Got Love For All”.
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Black” and matching Patta Wave Four apparel , will be released on Friday, December 10 on nike.patta.nl and in Patta stores, before arriving on Nike’s SNKRS app and in the Union Los Angeles shop. Don’t sleep and good luck !
