After the success of the Patta x New Balance 920, released in September 2020 (article available HERE), the Amsterdam-based brand is once again teaming up with the Boston-based equipment manufacturer to revisit the NB 991.
For this upcoming « Made in England » collaboration, the Patta team decided to use soft, elegant and modern colors.
The famous Dad shoe features a green-grey mesh upper with light brown-pink suede overlays and peach beige leather inserts. A few grey elements (some of which could be reflective) add cachet to the pair, such as the side N logo surrounded by white, the tongue and heel label and the inner lining. To complete the design, the brandings are embroidered in white : PATTA on the side heel, New Balance 991 on the tongue and the model number on the back of the heel. A label sewn on the inside of the tongue with the words « Made in England » and the British flag, as well as a peach beige heel clip, complete the refined look of the pair. The whole is based on a two-tone midsole in white and light grey with a high-performance ABZORB cushioning system combined with a black outsole.
The Patta x New Balance 991 will be released on January 29, 2021 on Patta.nl and at selected retailers. Don’t sleep !
