The famous Amsterdam shop PATTA and the Japanese brand MIZUNO unveil a new collaboration based on the iconic Sky Medal silhouette. After 2 first versions released in 2019 and 2020 (articles available on this site), a 3rd one with a retro look has just surfaced.
This exclusive Sky Medal features a color palette that matches Patta’s recent collections. Dressed in ivory, red and green, it’s also inspired by the style of 90’s sneakers that combined neutral/understated shades with bold color accents.
This revisited Sky Medal combines vintage and modern, sport and lifestyle. Made in Italy, it’s composed of an upper mixing suede and leather. The ivory colored base features perforations and green overlays. The iconic Run Bird logo on the side adds a touch of contrast with its flashy red color and purple outlines. The famous retro Purple colorway is also used to define the embroidered MIZUNO logos on the honey beige leather tongue and on the heel. The Patta brand appears in white embroidered alongside the Run Bird tongue. Honey beige finishes on the upper eyelets and green round laces ensure the harmony of the design. The whole is based on a comfortable ivory midsole coupled with a white rubber outsole.
The Patta x Mizuno Sky Medal « Ivory/Red/Green » will be released on April 1, 2022, in PATTA stores in Amsterdam, London and Milan, as well as on patta.nl and on the Patta app. The price is set at €175 ($192) and sizesrun US 5 to EU 11. Be ready !
