The release of a 3rd version of the collab PATTA x Nike Air Max 1 2021 seems to be confirmed ! While the 1st colorway « Monarch » had been unveiled by Edson Sabajo, it’s Guillaume Schmidt, the other founder of the Dutch brand, who teased this 3rd opus on his Instagram account (@geepatta).
This « Fuchsia » colorway is the 3rd installment of recent collaboration between the famous Amsterdam shop and the Beaverton giant on the iconic Air Max 1 silhouette, the 1st being the Orange « Monarch » and the 2nd the blue « Aqua Noise » (articles available on this site).
The main thread of this collaborative series, the « wavy » style, is kept in the mudguard with wavy finishes, for an eye-catching and symbolic effect.
This shoe is composed of a grey ballistic mesh base with pink overlays. The nubuck used on the 2 previous versions is abandoned in favor of a shiny leather for this iteration. Another difference, this fuchsia leather also covers the quarter panel where the emblematic Swoosh logo sits in tone on tone. The Patta branding stands out on the tongue tag and the insole. For the rest of the design, the inner lining and upper eyelets are dressed in a « Monarch » orange hue and the midsole is presented in off-white. A black outsole completes the look.
Just like the other versions, the pair will most likely come with 2 sets of laces and a special box.
The release date of the Patta x Air Max 1 « Fuchsia » has not yet been announced. However, following the logic of the 2 previous releases, the pair could be launched on a Friday of this month, the 12th, 19th or 26th ? Wait and See, we will keep you informed !
