Dutch artist Piet Parra, who is passionate about Pop Art and skateboarding, had brought his touch to the Nike SB Dunk Low silhouette in 2019 (article available HERE), before the big hype in 2020. According to rumors, a new collaborative version is in the works. Exclusive images have appeared on social media.
This new Piet Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low adopts a mismatched look, while showcasing Parra’s artistic style.
Both shoes consist of a mocha brown suede base, completed with different overlays. For the left foot, they appear in plain white leather, while for the right foot, these overlays are covered with colorful pop patterns, signature of Parra. On the shoe with white leather, the pop print is placed on the side panels. Black swooshes and white/grey round laces match the design, while a royal blue inner lining adds a nice touch of contrast. To finalize the look, the whole is based on an all-white rubber sole.
