After revisiting the Ultra 4D silhouette and taking part in the collaboration between the New York-based brand NOAH and adidas at the end of summer 2020 (article available HERE), the environmental NGO PARLEY for the Oceans has teamed up again with the German giant. The two partners offer us a new edition of the Ultra 4D, in « White » color.
Founded in 2012, the environmental NGO PARLEY for the Oceans aims to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of the oceans. It inspires various groups, such as brands like adidas, to reduce their environmental footprint and develop the recycling of materials.
This shoe, developed with an eco-responsible approach, is made using recycled plastic waste. It consists of a white knit uppers that are largely covered with cream-colored stitching lines that form parallel wavy lines. The emblematic adidas 3 side stripes are subtly distinguished and the adidas logo appears embroidered on the white tongue. A cream inner lining, flat laces and a completely blank heel for branding complete the look. The whole is based on a 4D printed midsole in cream color combined with a white rubber outsole.
The Parley x adidas Ultra 4D « White » is expected to be available in the spring of 2021 at adidas.com and selected retailers for around 200€. More details to come, stay tuned !
