The young British designer of Iranian origin, Paria FARZANEH, joins for the second time the American brand CONVERSE and brings her personal touch to the Pro Leather X2 High Top.
Paria FARZANEH explores her oriental heritage through her eponymous ready-to-wear brand. This delicate aesthetic paying homage to the art and craft of the Middle East is reflected in the sturdy silhouette presented today. With this collaboration, the designer fuses classic sport and modern utility with a touch of handcrafted elegance.
The shoe features a cream-colored synthetic base with a white paisley print, reminiscent of fine lacework. The mudguard, padded collar and heel are made of cream leather to harmonize the distinguished design. The Converse logo appears engraved in the heel tab and the signature star stands out on the quarter panel. Cream-colored metallic hiking eyelets and two-tone rope laces add a rugged, all-terrain side to the pair. We discover reflective details and an insole with co-branding, including Paria/FARZANEH in contrasting red color. The whole is based on a thick cream traction sole with small engraved lateral geometric patterns, completing the pair’s sleek and distinguished design.
The Paria FARZANEH x Converse Pro Leather X2 High Top will be available on November 27, 2020 at selected retailers and on converse.com for a price of 140€. The pair will be delivered in a special box and 2 extra sets of laces will be included.
