After a New Balance 992 which was a great success and marked the spirits (article available HERE), the Parisian restaurant PAPERBOY reinterprets the famous Reebok Club C Legacy. This new project was realized in triple collaboration with the Japanese shop BEAMS.
Exit the bright colors or trendy shades, Paperboy and BEAMS decided to dress this iconic Reebok silhouette only in white.
This neutral tone is applied to everything from the leather base to the sole, leather overlays, terry lining, exposed foam tongue, laces and stitching. Only the branding details add a touch of black color in this white unit. A Paperboy badge, penciled in a thin font like the restaurant sign, replaces the legendary British brand name on the side panels. Reebok appears on the heel in the same signature Paperboy font. The 3 labels are joined on the insole and on the tongue tag where BEAMS is inscribed in the Reebok aesthetic and overhangs the PAPERBOY « paperboy head » logo. The latter adds the circular Reebok acronym to his cap.
The Paperboy x BEAMS x Reebok Club C Legacy will be released on October 29, 2021, at select retailers and on reebok.com for 120$. Be ready !
