The PALACE Skateboard team has just presented its Spring 2022 collection. Among an attractive brown aviator jacket, technical jackets and other in faux fur, the London-based brand unveils a new part of its collaboration with the legendary Californian label VANS.
After redesigning the iconic Authentic and Sk8 Hi silhouettes last year, PALACE now turns its attention to the classic Old Skool.
Unlike the 2 previous collaborative pairs, this sneaker is presented to us devoid of graphics and in 3 classic colorways. Keeping its traditional canvas design, the special Old Skool shoe appears in Blue/Navy, White/Beige and Black/White. At first glance, there is no indication that these sneakers are collabs. You have to focus on the heel to discover PALACE’s « Basically A » graphic, a stylized text logo of the brand surrounded by a blue line at the top and red at the bottom. The Vans brandings are presented in a classic way, on the side tag and with the red heel badge. All 3 versions feature the same white elements : the iconic side stripe, inner lining, laces and midsole. The whole is based on the legendary waffle gum outsole.
