Pack Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300

Following the success of the previous revisited models, the famous New York streetwear brand AIME LEON DORE continues its close collaboration with New Balance. In May, barely two months after the release of the NB 827 pack, Teddy Santis, founder of ALD, had stealthily teased a future collaborative project on his Instagram. Today, the Queens native designer unveiled a more global view of this next capsule, this time based on the silhouette of the New Balance 1300. This running shoe is available in two colorways, one grass green and the other old pink.

Unlike the NB 827 trio revisited, the NB 1300 duo is dressed in simple colorways.

The shoes consist of a green or pink mesh upper, depending on the iteration, with tone-on-tone hairy suede overlays. A touch of contrast is provided by the signature N logo on the side, in silver for the green pair and midnight blue for the pink sneaker. On the latter, the heel is also dressed in midnight blue. To complete the retro design, the tongue appears yellowed, as do the ENCAP unit and the comfortable midsole. In terms of branding details, the logos of both partners are coupled on the tongue label. To highlight the design, the colour white is used to define the contours of the lateral N, the inner lining and the woven laces. The whole is based on a black outsole everbearing to the toe.

The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300 pack is scheduled for release in the autumn of 2020. More info coming soon, stay tuned…
