The partnership between the brand of the late Virgil Abloh and the giant of Beaverton continues with a new variation of the Air Force 1 Mid. After the versions « Pine Green », « Clear White » and « Clear Black » (article available HERE), an off-White x Nike AF1 Mid « Graffiti » has just surfaced on social networks.
This new collaboration combines several influences. It pays homage to street art, is adorned with signature details of the American designer, while retaining some characteristics of this classic model.
The reimagined silhouette features a smooth white leather upper with matching overlays and tongue strap. The side panels feature OFF-WHITE branding applied in the form of blue graffiti with a purple background. There is Virgil Abloh’s signature double lacing, as well as the famous zip-tie attached to the laces, orange tag under the ankle and black industrial lettering on the inner sides. The pair also features graffiti-style AIR branding embroidered on the tongue, a white midsole with slightly wavy back finishes and featuring distorted orange air units. To finalize the look, the whole is based on a bold white spike sole.
The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid « Graffiti » is expected to be released soon at select retailers and on nike.com. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
