After rumors during the end of the year 2022, the project of the next collaboration between 2 entities of the Swoosh brand, Jordan Brand and Nike SB, becomes a reality. A Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 « Pine Green » should be released soon.
The partnership between the Jumpman Brand and Nike’s skateboarding division began almost a decade ago in 2014 with the release of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 High « Lance Mountain » duo. 5 years later, several AJ1s reworked by Nike’s skate sub-label had also been designed.
To start this year 2023, the giant of Beaverton continues this association and presents us a revisited Air Jordan 4.
The silhouette designed by the great Tinker Hatfield is dressed in the famous « Pine Green » colorway. This collaborative version should consists of a white leather upper with matching or light grey nettings and overlays. The base is enhanced with pine green elements : the underlay, TPU eyelets, sole stabilizers, tongue logos and rear heel reinforcement. The pair features co-branding and construction modifications to match skateboarders’ expectations, including a reworked cushioning system.
The Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 « Pine Green » is set to release on March 20, 2023 for $225, in select skateshops and on nike.com. Another colorway « Black » would also be in preparation … For the latest official details, stay tuned !
