For several years, the American professional skateboarder Ishod Wair collaborates with Nike on classic models and is part of the skate team of the Swoosh brand. At the end of last year, he got his first signature shoe simply named « Ishod ». After launch colorways rather understated and simple, the Nike SB Ishod is presented in a makeup « Pistachio ».
Ishod Wair was totally involved in the design of his signature skate shoe.
He was inspired by his first love, basketball, to give it a look reminiscent of the iconic bball of the 90’s. The skateboarder also chose to combine OG style and modernity so that his signature sneaker offers increased resistance and premium comfort.
The Pistachio green hue covers most of this new variation. The shoe features a nubuck upper with perforations at the toe box and breathable mesh panels with ripples. The padded collar and tongue are dressed in classic light green mesh. The iconic Swoosh logo appears embroidered in white on the toe, and in red, reverse direction and increased size on the side heel. To complete the look, the shoe features other red elements, such as tongue and heel branding, zig-zag stitching at the sides of the eyelets, and visible insert through the side panels. The pair is adorned with an additional creamy beige hue that dresses up the inner lining and the reinforcing strip above the midsole. The whole is based on a white React technology midsole and a gum rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Ishod « Pistachio » is expected to be released soon in selected skateshops and on nike.com for 100$. More info to come, stay tuned !
