NIKE SB DUNK LOW x BEN & JERRY’S “CHUNKY DUNKY”

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]After Piet Parra, Supreme but also Travis Scott, the silhouette of the Nike SB Dunk Low has once again been chosen to offer us a surprising and unprecedented collaboration. The world of food has already proved its taste for sneaker culture by partnering with giants in this field and today, the American ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s presents its vision of the Nike SB Dunk Low. A model with a bold and flashy design, perfectly matching the “skate” spirit.

The pair is called “Chunky Dunky”, a mix between the name of the silhouette and that of the brand’s very popular ice cream flavor, the “Chunky Monkey”.

The first thing that jumps out is the yellow swoosh, dripping like ice cream in the sun and representing the main taste of this flavor, banana. All over the shoe, we find the colours of the famous Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bucket. In particular, the upper is made of blue and green leather, in reference to the sky and pastures of the brand’s emblematic cow, whose imitation coat is found in overlays. To complete the nod to ice cream, the thick and satiny lining is multicolored, like the multitude of fragrance choices. On the heel, white clouds appear, whose thick thread stitching gives them a relief effect. A little further up, on the black heel tab, we find an imposing Nike branding embroidered with yellow thread in the typical Ben & Jerry’s “greedy” typography. The thick tab is covered with an imitation cowhide print where the label recalling the model’s name “Chunky Dunky” is sewn. The whole is based on a white midsole and a grass-green outsole. To complete the matching, this model comes with three pairs of laces in different colours: white, yellow “banana” and green.

The release of this collaboration NIKE SB DUNK LOW x BEN & JERRY’S “CHUNKY DUNKY” is planned for May 23rd, in limited edition, at a cost of 110€ and available in selected skate shops and potentially on Nike.com [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
