Nike SB Dunk Low « Club 58 »

In 2018, the SB division of Nike surrounded itself with a collective of employees from 4 major European skateshops to rework the silhouette of the Blazer. A Nike SB Blazer Mid « Club 58 » was created. This number appeared on a few SB pairs afterwards, then recently, in March 2020, on the « Griffey » iteration. Today, the collective has added its touch to a flagship silhouette of the brand and presents the Nike SB Dunk Low « Club 58 ».

This shoe has a colorway inspired by the classic Ford GT40 car from the 1968 24 Hours of Le Mans. It’s dressed in a color palette « Blue Chill », « Safety Orange », black and white also reminiscent of the Miami Dolphins.

The sneaker consists of a blue suede upper with matching overlays and white leather swooshes. The number 58 appears in black on a circular white background at the side heel and tongue branding. To harmonize the design, the inner lining, heel tab and mesh tongue are also adorned in blue. A nice touch of contrast is brought by black accents, such as the outlines of the white Swooshes, the Nike branding embroidered on the heel, the thick laces and the topstitching on the white midsole. An orange outsole brings the final touch to the design and adds cachet to the pair.

The Nike SB Dunk Low « Club 58 » is expected to be released in the first months of 2021, in selected skateshops and on nike.com, for a price of 100€. More release details coming soon, stay tuned !
