The Beaverton-based giant is working on its annual Nike « Be True » collection in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. The SB Dunk Low silhouette, already included in the summer « Fruity pack » (article available HERE), will also be part of this new opus.
The hyper-popular sneaker has been reinterpreted with subtlety. It appears in a simple and elegant style with discreet colorful touches.
This special version features a white leather base with overlays in a more pinkish shade and seemingly reactive to UV or wear. The look is completed with mismatched leather heel tabs in yellow on one foot and green on the other, as well as rainbow stitching on the heel and white side Swoosh. The yellowed mesh tongue features a zippered pocket and a multicolored comma tag. The name of the collection « BE TRUE » is embroidered in rainbow colors on the side heel and adorns the multicolored insole. A white sole and matching laces complete the design. A small multicolored plate under the midfoot subtly finalizes the look.
The Nike SB Dunk Low « Be True » is expected to be released during the month of June 2022 in selected skateshops and on nike.com, for a usual price around 110$. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
