The Skateboarding division of Nike presents a new version of its famous Dunk Low silhouette. For this new opus, the skateshoe is dressed in bright colors inspired by the legendary animated series « The Simpsons ».
Following the Nike Dunk Low « Homer » from 2004 and the Dunk High « Marge » from 2008, this SB Dunk Low pays tribute to the son of the Simpsons family, Bart the cheeky.
The sneaker comes in a color palette of Habanero Red, White and Blue Hero, reminiscent of the pre-teen’s outfit. It consists of a yellow leather base with a matching mesh tongue and red suede overlays. The heel tab, laces and tongue tag are also featured in red. To complete the design, the iconic leather side Swoosh and midsole are dressed in white, as are the tongue and heel brandings. We find the electric blue color applied to the inner lining and outsole, as well as a green insole referencing Bart’s skateboarding.
The Nike SB Dunk Low « Bart Simpson » will be released in the coming months in selected skateshops and on nike.com, priced at $100. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
