NIKE PRESTO Australia Olympics 2020

For some time now, the silhouette of the Nike Air Presto, has been of great interest to a large number of sneakerheads. The latters will be thrilled to learn that an iconic colorway that appeared in 2000 to celebrate the Summer Olympics in Australia has made a comeback. At this time, this iteration was a « Friends & Family » version and only distributed to athletes. Today, this coveted Nike Presto Australia Olympics is available to the general public.

The shoe presented to us is based on the features and design of the OG model created more than two decades ago by designer Tobie Hatfield.

It features a turquoise neoprene upper with five yellow stars on the front of the foot, a nod to the flag of the island state. The laceguard cage, heel tap and translucent heel insert add cachet to the pair. To complete the design, the toe reinforcement is transparent, the laces are white and the eyelets appear in black, matching with the inner lining of the same colour. The inscription AUS on the tongue and heel label and the yellow Swoosh applied on the white midsole complete the Olympic look. The whole is based on a two-tone black and yellow outsole.

The NIKE Presto Australia Olympics 2020 will be available in Australia on July 17, 2020 on the Supply Store website, via a draw for which registration is already open. From July 24th, the pair should be available on Nike.com … Stay tuned!
