After offering us a pair of LeBron 7 « Media Day » in Laker colors a few months ago (article available HERE), the basketball division of Nike and LeBron James are now applying the colors of the famous Los Angeles club on the 8th signature silhouette of the NBA player.
This LeBron 8 « Lakers » adopts a classic symmetrical construction and is dressed in the Court Purple and University Gold colors.
It features a purple upper, combining nubuck and synthetic, with yellow accents such as the side swoosh, leather laceguard and comfortable inner lining. This nice touch of contrast is complemented by subtle additions of white around the contours of the side swoosh, laces and midsole. To finalize the design, the Air Max unit along the entire length of the foot appears in yellow and the rubber outsole is trimmed in purple.
The Nike LeBron 8 « Lakers » is expected to be available in December 2020 at selected retailers and on nike.com. More details to come, stay tuned.
