During the year 2022, the American giant NIKE will resurrect from the archives of old iconic signature silhouettes. In addition to the LeBron 2 (article available HERE), the Swoosh brand should bring back to the forefront the 3rd signature shoe of the famous NBA basketball player.
A little flashback. The Nike LeBron 3 was created in 2005. Still adorned with Zoom Air pockets, it benefits from Nike’s new Phylon technology : a lightweight foam, compressed and molded, shaped to fit the soles of the feet and provide excellent cushioning. A TPU reinforcement clip has been added to prevent ankle injuries.
Although no official photo has been posted yet, according to well-informed accounts this silhouette should be offered to us soon in a color blocking similar to that of the OG version « Black Crimson ».
It would thus consist of a black upper with glossy accents and touches of dark red, especially at the Zoom Air units. To complete the stylish look, the logos appear discreetly affixed on the side heel, the tongue and the heel tab. Other elements, such as the inner lining, side straps, laces and outsole, are presented in black to finalize the understated design of the sneaker.
The Nike LeBron 3 will be released sometime in 2022, at select retailers and nike.com, for a price tag of around 185$. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
