At the end of last year, Nike announced the return of the 2nd signature silhouette of NBA superstar LeBron James (article available HERE). Today, the sportswear giant is preparing the reissue of the famous LeBron 2 « Maccabi ».
This « Maccabi » version is a Player Exclusive colorway from 2004.
Worn by King James during the preseason game against the Maccabi Elite of Tel Aviv, this variation will now be available to the general public.
The bball mid features a metallic gold mesh upper, completed with overlays and a smooth white leather ankle strap. To ensure the look, all Nike and LeBron branding details also appear in gold, as do the insole, lower eyelets and Zoom Air technology sole. The whole is based on a patterned, white rubber outsole that provides traction and increases durability.
The Nike LeBron 2 « Maccabi » will be released in the coming months at select retailers and nike.com for a price tag of around $200. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
