While Jordan Brand’s annual CNY collection has just surfaced (article available HERE), Nike follows suit by unveiling an exclusive Dunk Low named « Year of the Tiger ». This special edition honors the Chinese New Year under the sign of the tiger.
The hyper-popular silhouette sports a bold yet stylish look.
It consists of a suede upper paired with a light brown satin lining. The front of the foot appears in light grey while the middle and back are dressed in black. Black inserts such as the eyelets, side Swoosh and ankle overlay feature Asian-inspired tonal designs. At the back of the foot, the black base is enhanced by embroidered gold tiger stripes that affirm the homage to the Year of the Tiger and Chinese craftsmanship. To complete the design, the whole is based on a white midsole and a semi-translucent yellowed rubber outsole.
