The Nike Dunk Low silhouette is a great success in the sneaker world. Some colorways are even among the best releases of 2020. Before the end of this successful year, Beaverton’s manufacturer is expected to introduce a new colorway called « Lemon Wash ».
This multicoloured shoe combines bold design and recycled materials in line with the eco-friendly « Space Hippie » collection.
The pair consists of a canvas upper in a patchwork style. Only the toe box is a plain purple colour. The other parts of the upper come in a palette of colours ranging from blue to burgundy, purple, dark turquoise, mauve and white. These fabrics are embellished with a variety of 90’s inspired prints and graphics, giving the pair a vintage look. The side Swoosh appears in a pale yellow colour. To complete the matching, this colour is used to cover the heel tab and laces. The whole is based on an off-white midsole and Grind rubber outsole, made from eco-friendly materials.
The same process was used to design the Nike Air Force 1 « Crater » outsole (article available HERE), which will be released in the coming weeks.
The Nike Dunk Low « Lemon Wash » is expected to be released in this fall 2020 at selected retailers and Nike.com for around 100€.
