The American giant Nike has unveiled its complete « Chinese New Year » 2021 collection. This annual pack will include Jordan and Converse models, and will introduce a new Nike Dunk Low. This official iteration removes the doubt on the « Street Hawker » presented earlier (article available HERE) and felt to be part of this collection.
This pair, never seen before, is dressed in different shades of blue, enhanced by colorful and bold prints paying tribute to fireworks.
It consists of a sky blue mesh upper with royal blue leather overlays featuring yellow, red, black and white graphics and inscriptions referring to fireworks and their notices (the traditional festive material to celebrate the new year). A laceguard and a royal blue side Swoosh add a beautiful harmonious touch to the design. To complete the look, the yellow tongue label has been specially reworked, the inner lining is black and the heel tab is dressed in red with yellow Nike branding. The whole is based on a white midsole combined with a red outsole, bringing the final touch.
The Nike Dunk Low « Chinese New Year » 2021 will be released on January 22, 2021 on nike.com and at selected retailers for the usual price of 100€.
For information, the other Nike CNY pairs will be released on January 1 and the Jordan models will be available on January 14, except the AJ 1 Low (article available HERE) announced for January 31. The various colorways of Converse Chuck 70 CNY are scheduled for January 21, 2021.
