The Beaverton giant continues to expand its « Toasty » collection designed to face the cold season. After recently reinterpreting the fashionable Dunk Low silhouette (article available HERE), Nike unveils a special High version.
This winter collection is part of the American sportswear brand’s eco-friendly « Move to Zero » campaign.
This Dunk High is made with a mixture of materials from recycling. It’s dressed in an understated and elegant color palette White/Tan/Black. As with the other models in the « Toasty » range, the shoe has parts in quilted fabric. It’s used more extensively here : for the white upper and for the tan overlays. The design is harmoniously complemented by white elements, such as the tongue with the circular mini Swooshes « Move to Zero » logo, the laces and the midsole. The iconic side Swoosh adds a touch of contrast with its black hue and material. To ensure the distinction of this collection, we find the duo of Nike and Toasty labels sewn on the quarter panel and the inner lining appears in fleece. The whole is based on a brown Grind outsole.
The Nike Dunk High « Toasty » is expected to be released in November 2021 at select retailers and nike.com for 130$. Stay tuned !
