NIKE DUNK HIGH “First Use” and AFEW GOODS TEE

For the 50th anniversary of the Swoosh logo, the famous sports brand Nike has decided to offer a collection of Dunk High called « First Use ». Having been lucky enough to receive the « Sail Green » colorway thanks to my partner FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.

The latter is given cult details to remember key elements on the genesis of this logo. We find for example dubraes in the form of Swoosh gold embellished with a diamond. This element is a tribute to Carolyn Davidson, a graphic design student at Portland State University who created this logo for 35$. Indeed, in September 1983, Nike gave Carolyn Davidson a gold ring representing the logo set with a diamond, and an envelope containing Nike shares. The side panels of the shoe also feature the inscription « First Use June 18, 1971 ».

The pair consists of a leather and suede upper in grey, with touches of green bringing contrast to the whole. We find a double lacing with grey laces combined with green laces. The whole is based on a white midsole and a grey outsole.

With this shoe, I wear a baseball shirt from the collection « Ballpark » created by Afew Goods (article available HERE).
