During this year 2020, the giant Nike has already presented us with some iconic silhouettes dressed in the colours of the American flag. To celebrate the 4th of July, the Beaverton brand is expanding its range of patriotic models by unveiling a Nike Air Max Metal “USA”.
This shoe is called “The OG of sneaker luxury” by Nike itself.
It consists of a University Red upper with white leather overlay and white contoured boomerang inserts. These patterns reveal a grey mesh underlay for more comfort and ventilation. Blue accents can be found on the heel counter, tongue branding and the back of the heel featuring Nike’s signature heel pull. To finalize the design, the inner lining is white and the insole is blue. The whole is based on a white midsole with Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot and a blue outsole.
The Nike Air Max Metal “USA” will be released on June 27, 2020 at selected retailers such as Foot Locker and on Nike.com , for a price of 140€.
