[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]It’s during the month of June 2020 that I was telling you in an article (available HERE) about the imminent return of a cult pair of shoes from the 90’s : The Nike Air Max Triax 96 « USA Olympic ». Released on the occasion of the Atlanta Olympics, this one was created as a tribute to a worldwide event back in the United States.
I suggest you to discover it in pictures at my feet.
The pair consists of a leather and mesh upper in a colorway ranging from navy blue to red through white. These characteristic colors of the American flag are enhanced with a touch of gold color on the swoosh and the heel. We find the U.S. flag on the tongue, « USA » mention on the heel and the Nike Track Field logo on the insole.
My outfit is composed of a Mitchell and Ness cap, a Russel Athletic X Shinzo sweatshirt, Cargo shorts from Carhartt and a pair of socks from Nike.
This reissue seems to me faithful to the original with correct materials and finishes. I totally validate this silhouette with an aggressive style that seems to me underrated by the sneakers addict and unexploited by the swoosh brand.
