The year 2022 will be rich in celebrations for the giant of Beaverton, including honoring the 35 years of the Nike Air Max 1, the 40 years of the Air Force 1 and the 50 years of the Cortez (articles available on this site). But for this new year, Nike is also preparing the introduction of a new silhouette, the Air Max Scorpion.
This new design is intended to help resurrect the energy around its Air Max line. It promises to « give us the comfort of tomorrow today ».
Sharing similar characteristics with the Nike VaporMax, this silhouette consists of a Flyknit upper, here in off-white. The side Swoosh and mini-Swoosh on the toe box are featured in black embroidery. An additional touch of color is provided by yellow accents, at the heel pull and on the midsole cells. To complete the look, branding is heat-bonded to the tongue and the mudguard appears in semi-translucent TPU. The whole is based on a large Air Max sole improved over the entire length that ensures a new and maximum comfort.
