The Swoosh brand continues to honor the neighborhoods of major global metropolises through iconic models. In April, it had introduced a special Nike Tuned SD « 93 » paying tribute to the inhabitants of the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis (article available HERE). This time, the Bevearton giant highlights its loyal London community of Brixton with a brand new Air Max Plus.
This pair pays homage to this London neighborhood with a design inspired by its historic street art.
It consists of a multicolored upper, in shades of blue, green, yellow and orange, covered with black prints imitating the tags on the walls of Brixton. The black mudguard appears in snakeskin and the toe overlay in black patent. To complete the look, the Swooshes logos on the tongue and quarter panel, as well as the visible Air units, are in a bright orange hue. The whole is based on a two-tone black and white midsole, with a blue icy part under the midfoot, and on a black and orange outsole that finalize the look harmoniously.
The Nike Air Max Plus « Brixton » is released exclusively in Foot Locker’s Brixton store, ahead of the general release on July 28, 2022 in other European shops and on footlocker.com. The price should be around $160, stay tuned !
