The Beaverton equipment manufacturer pays tribute to the legendary career of NBA basketball player LeBron James with a Nike Air Max 95. Following the 2015 « Game Time » iteration celebrating the 20th anniversary of the silhouette and the LeBron’s junior team, the new version is based on the theme of his current franchise, the Los Angeles Lakers.
The shoe, designed by Sergio Lozano more than 25 years ago, is dressed in the emblematic colors of the Lakers and presents a mismatched design.
The right foot appears in purple and the left foot in gold, with these inverted shades in the eyelets, heel tab and all Air units. To complete the look, the other elements are black, such as the net over the laceguard, tongue, laces, lining and midsole. Key details adorn the underside of the translucent outsole : King James number 23 and a list of his achievements during his fine career.
The pair comes in a special black box with purple and gold accents and the LeBron branding.
