The Beaverton OEM continues to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of its flagship models : the NIKE Air Max 90. The trend that stands out among the many tribute releases is certainly the camouflage pattern. Following the success of three iterations inspired by Hirofumi Kojima’s (Koji) « Duck Camo » design, the Nike team presents the Air Max 90 « Orange Camo » in a slightly different style.
The shoe consists of a ripstop fabric upper covered with a tiger camo military pattern in two shades of orange and black. The overlays are dressed in black nubuck and the side swoosh appears in light orange smooth leather. To complete the design, the orange colour, in a deep or light shade, is found on the laces eyelets, heel tab and the cassette housing the Air unit under the heel. The laces, tongue and inner lining in black colour highlight the orange-coloured elements. The whole is based on a white midsole and an outsole in gum rubber and black.
The release date of the Nike Air Max 90 « Orange Camo » has not yet been specified but the pair should arrive during the summer of 2020, at selected retailers and on Nike.com, for a price of 140€. Stay tuned…
