The celebration of the 30th anniversary of the silhouette imagined by the talented designer Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Max 90, should end in style. Lovers of the Swoosh brand will be delighted to learn of the official and imminent return of the iconic “Infrared” colorway.
For the record, this « Infrared », Nike’s signature bright red color, was chosen specifically to highlight the new and revolutionary visible Air-Sole technology. The 2020 iteration promises to be virtually identical to the original 1990 model. Just the color red could be a darker hue, closer to « Radiant Red ». It consists of a white mesh upper with light grey suede and black leather overlays. We find black or red TPE inserts on the heel, the laceguard, under the ankle area and of course the cassette that houses the Air unit in the sole. The deep grey Swoosh sewn on the side panels and a white tongue label with classic Nike red branding complete the design. The whole is based on a white midsole combined with a two-tone red and black outsole.
The Nike Air Max 90 « Infrared » 2020 will be released on November 9 on Nike.com and at selected retailers for 140€ and in family sizes. Be ready !
