Nike Air Max 3 « Radiant Red » aka Air Max 90 OG « Infrared »

As announced a few weeks ago, the legendary Nike Air Max 90 OG in « Infrared » colorway will make its comeback to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the silhouette launch, under the name Air Max 3 « Radiant Red ».

The silhouette created by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield was originally called Air Max 3, but was simply nicknamed by its year of release, 1990, hence the popular AM90.

The 2020 shoe retains its original shape while dressing in new materials.

It consists of a shiny white nylon upper with grey suede overlays and soft, durable black synthetic leather. Emblematic TPE inserts in the famous bright red are found on the heel, the laceguard, under the ankle area and on the cassette that wraps the visible Air Sole unit. The thick white tongue on the outside is also adorned with signature red on the inside. The side swoosh in a grey shade slightly darker than the overlays and the wide vintage tongue label, featuring Nike Air’s classic red and black branding, complete the design. The whole is based on the authentic tapered foam midsole in white and red combined with an outsole alternating black and red, completing the tribute.

This version will be delivered in an OG Air Max shoe box, accompanied by a retro tag in transparent plastic.

The official Europe release date of this Nike Air Max 90 OG « Infrared » has been confirmed on November 28, 2020. The pair will be available on the Nike app and at selected retailers such as Overkill via overkillshop.com, for a suggested retail price of 150€ and in sizes ranging from EU 35.5 to EU 50.5.
