As Air Max Day 2023 approaches, the American giant NIKE begins to unveil exclusive products. In addition to the launch of the Air Max 1 OG « Big Bubble », the Swoosh brand seems to want to integrate the legendary design of Tinker Hatfield in a new version « Unlock Your Space ».
Unlike the « Big Bubble » filled with nostalgia and faithful to the OG design, this brand new AM1 represents modernity and the future by encouraging creativity.
It consists of a white mesh upper, complemented by overlays in matching leather or a shade of beige. The iconic Swoosh logo on the side has a hologram white/black print effect, a futuristic looking Swoosh stands out on the reflective part of the heel and colorful mini-Swooshes (yellow, pink and pastel blue) are embroidered on the side of the toe box. To affirm the inspiration, the pair benefits from digital-like markings, such as the exclusive NIKE tongue branding and ‘Unlock Your Space’ on the white midsole. A pink/orange gradient inner lining and a semi-translucent icy outsole harmoniously finalize the look.
The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Unlock Your Space’ is expected to be released soon, at select retailers and nike.com, for a price tag around $170. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
