The American giant Nike celebrates the 35th anniversary of its legendary Air Max 1 through many variations. In addition to the « City of Light », « Wabi-sabi » and « Blue » (available on this site), the Swoosh brand unveils a version « Treeline ».
The name « Treeline » refers to the green color of the mudguard. But, this AM1 could quickly be nicknamed « Skunk » so much the color scheme and materials recall the iconic Nike SB Dunk High of 2010.
This AM1 features a mix of beige mesh and off-white leather, enhanced by a green suede mudguard and heel overlay. The look is completed with purple accents at the suede side Swoosh and tongue branding. The laces affirm the design with their green color and white polka dot pattern. The insole features a checkerboard print and the inner lining, collar, TPU upper eyelets and embroidered « Nike Air Max » on the heel appear in a bright beige color. The whole is based on a white midsole and a midnight blue outsole that harmoniously complete the look.
