NIKE AIR MAX 1 « Powerwall Green Lemonade »

In 2006, Nike wanted to highlight its innovative Air technology by designing a collection called « Powerwall ». This vast series celebrated the 3 decades of the Nike Air Max. It was composed of 56 variations based on 8 iconic silhouettes including the revolutionary Nike Air 1 imagined by the great Tinker Hatfield. The « Lemonade » colorway was one of the most popular of this collection, which is still very much in demand by sneakerheads today. Sneakerheads will be delighted to learn that the Beaverton giant seems to anticipate the return of the Nike Air Max 1 « Lemonade » by the end of the summer.

This AM1 should be available in 3 colorways : the re-release of the pair in essentially pale yellow with touches of green « Lemonade », a new pair with inverted colours mainly Peen Green « Green Lemonade » and a third version in acid pink « Pink Lemonade ». According to the reliable @py_rates_ account, the inverted colour « Green Lemonade » should be the first of this pack to reach the market.

The shoe consists of a mesh upper with premium leather overlays. The design is asserted by a white « air » monogram print in pop-art style on the quarter panel with the smooth leather side Swoosh, the laceguard and the back of the shoe. The laces, upper eyelets and tongue branding add a touch of contrast. To complete the retro look of the pair, the whole is based on a white midsole with the transparent Air unit and a black outsole.

The release of the Nike Air Max 1 « Green Lemonade », from the new « Powerwall Lemonade » pack, is announced for September 19, 2020. More information should be communicated very soon, stay tuned !
